Shockbyte in Melbourne is seeking a Web Developer to own the development of the landing website from first visit through checkout. You’ll manage the self-built checkout, WHMCS integrations, and all touchpoints that influence whether a visitor becomes a customer.

You’ll be the sole developer on the website team, partnering with the performance squad and marketing to shape how technical work is done in a marketing-led environment while ensuring the site stays current with product and engineering

Qualifications

• Experience with WHMCS or other billing/hosting platforms.
• Background on high-traffic/conversion-focused landing pages.
• Familiarity with CRO practices and analytics tooling.
• Active gamer or hands-on game server experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the full development lifecycle of the Shockbyte landing website from first visit to checkout.
• Build, maintain and improve the self-built checkout for conversion and ease of use.
• Integrate WHMCS for a seamless purchasing flow.
• Collaborate closely with the website performance squad and marketing to deliver improvements that move the needle.
• Identify opportunities to improve site performance, user experience, and conversion without waiting to be directed.
