Job summary

Downer is seeking a Site Engineer to assist with delivery of capital water and wastewater infrastructure across the Sunshine Coast region, including valves, hydrants, water pump stations, network renewals and water main replacements. The role is based in the Sunshine Coast Maroochydore office with site-based work in Noosa as projects commence.

You will work with planning visits, advise on constructability, support scheduling, cost controls, procurement, estimating, QA and safety teams to develop

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years project delivery experience within the water or wastewater industry.
• Experience driving quality outcomes in project delivery.
• Good organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend planning visits and concept reviews to advise on constructability and delivery across time, cost, safety and quality outcomes.
• Support Scheduling, Cost Controls, Community Engagement, Procurement, Estimating, Quality Assurance and Safety teams in developing delivery plans.
• Provide technical advice and expertise throughout project delivery phase, promptly addressing any issues and problem-solve to maintain time, cost, quality and safety targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, subcontractors and colleagues.
