Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services seeks a Water Treatment Operator to join our team in Chinchilla, QLD. This shift-based role supports QGC operations, covering plant operations, maintenance, fault finding, SCADA monitoring and laboratory testing.

You will operate and monitor equipment, perform sampling and testing, maintain records and assist with optimisation and commissioning activities. FIFO from Brisbane on a 2/2 roster.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant or water treatment operations highly regarded.
• Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant equipment, processes and systems.
• Complete preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process and SCADA/DCS alarms.
• Conduct water sampling, laboratory testing and analysis.
• Maintain accurate plant records and performance reports.
• Support plant optimisation and commissioning activities.
• Share knowledge and support other operators.
• Follow all safety, environmental and quality requirements.
