Job Description

A valued opportunity to join a successful water treatment/hygiene company with a strong reputation and clients throughout the UK. We are currently hiring a tenacious and commercially motivated Water Treatment Operations Manager to join our busy office in the Northamptonshire area. The ideal candidate comes from a managerial background, has previous experience in the water treatment industry, and a background in remedial plumbing. Candidates from the Midlands and surrounding areas are welcomed.

Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day operational management of all site remedial works.
  • Manage the company’s water treatment and water hygiene services.
  • Promote and grow the business.
  • Responsible for financial forecasting and profit & loss.
  • Plan and manage staff workload.
  • Deliver presentations to new and potential clients.
  • Manage new and existing client accounts.
  • Ensure a continued high quality service to customers.
  • Generate new business leads and opportunities.
  • Meet targets and goals.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.
  • Prepare quotes and tenders.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Recruit, train, and appraise staff.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong plumbing, operational, commercial, management, accounts and sales background.
  • Previous managerial/director role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the water treatment/legionella industry and legislation.
  • City & Guilds or equivalent plumbing qualifications.
  • Good communication, management and customer service skills.
  • Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
