Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber.
Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex.
Salary / Benefits: £24k – £35k + Training + Benefits.

Our client is a multi-disciplined Environmental Consultancy who specialise in the delivery of Water Hygiene / Legionella management services across the UK. They are now looking to take on a qualified and hard-working Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber to cover the South Coast. You will be carrying out water sampling, temperature monitoring, deadleg removals, rerouting and replacing pipework duties across Commercial, Industrial and Educational sites. Experience & Qualifications

• Will have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer and / or Plumber for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
• Must hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in plumbing.
• Experience working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Able to work to strict deadlines.
• Good communication skills.
• Working on a mixed portfolio of sites carrying out the following L8 compliance duties:
• Water sampling.
• Temperature monitoring.
• TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
• Deadleg removals.
• Attending site to carry out fault-finding and ensuring that any issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
• Flushing of little used outlets.
• Showerhead cleans and disinfections.
• CWST cleans and disinfections.
• Rerouting and replacing of pipework (PVC / Copper).
• Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Ensuring to update onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
