Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a reliable Labourer for a waste management operation. The role covers general site maintenance, litter collection, inspections, and safe use of power tools to keep the facility clean and safe.

The ideal candidate will have prior labouring or site maintenance experience, be comfortable working outdoors, possess a White Card, and have valid Australian working rights. Immediate start and penalties apply for after-hours work.

Qualifications

Experience in labouring and site maintenance.
Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

Carry out general site maintenance and labouring duties across the facility.
Use power tools and basic equipment safely to complete maintenance tasks.
Conduct litter collection and ensure the site is kept clean, tidy and free of debris.
Perform routine site inspections to identify hazards, maintenance requirements and potential safety issues.
Assist with general site upkeep and other duties as required.
Follow all site safety protocols, procedures and environmental regulations.
Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members.
Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean and productive work environment.
