Job summary
Cleanaway in Newman, WA seeks a permanent, full-time waste collection driver. You will operate waste collection vehicles safely and independently, loading and unloading commercial waste and delivering loads to recycling and disposal facilities.
Join a team with a strong safety culture and a competitive package: 43.73 AUD per hour plus a $500 weekly allowance, with overtime opportunities. HR licence required; forklift licence desirable; pre-employment checks will apply.
Qualifications
- Unrestricted HR Licence required.
- Experience or willingness to operate a variety of trucks.
- Clean driving record and strong safety mindset.
- Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate waste collection vehicles.
- Loading, transporting and unloading commercial and industrial waste materials.
- Delivering loads to designated recycling and disposal facilities.
- Providing friendly and professional customer service.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining vehicle presentation.
- Complying with fatigue management, safety and operational requirements.
