Warehouse Operator / Forklift Driver – New Site Opening

Are you physically fit, motivated, and ready for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? We are opening a new warehouse in Berrinba and need reliable, energetic people to help us get it up and running.

Because you’ll be part of the very first team on the ground, anyone who shows strong skills and takes initiative will have immediate opportunities to step up into a site leadership role.

About Us:

Global Fitness and Leisure is growing fast. We are a leader in Fitness, Bicycle, and Kids Play Equipment in Australia. If you haven’t heard of us, chances are you’ve seen our brands: Adidas, Lifespan Fitness, Lifespan Kids, Rocky Mountain and X-LAB, just to name a few.

We supply major Aussie retailers and sell direct to customers through our web stores and physical shops. As we expand into Queensland, we’re looking for hard workers to help us run our new Berrinba site.

Find out more about us at www.gflgroup.com.au.

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily warehouse tasks including receiving stock, putaway, and dispatch.
• Spend plenty of time on the forklift safely moving, loading, and organising big, bulky goods (like fitness equipment, play sets, and bikes).
• Pick, pack, and prepare heavy freight and standard orders for shipment.
• Use RF scanners to keep track of inventory accurately.
• Help set up the warehouse workflows and keep the site safe and organised from day one.

Requirements:

• Current Forklift (LF) Licence: Essential for the daily handling of our large, bulky inventory.
• Initiative & Drive: You can work hard without needing someone looking over your shoulder, and you're keen to step into a leadership role as the site grows.
• Physical Fitness: Able to safely lift and move large, heavy items.
• Reliability: You show up on time, every time, with a strong work ethic.
• Good Communication Skills: You can coordinate easily with management and external truck drivers.
• Warehouse Experience: You have a solid, practical understanding of receiving, putaway, and dispatch.

Roster:

Typical roster hours are Mondays to Fridays, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Saturday rotations are also available.
