Job summary

UPS in Sydney is seeking an Operations Team Leader to manage a small team overseeing warehouse operations, inventory, and order processing in a safe, efficient environment. You will lead receiving, storage, shipping, and continuous improvement to ensure accuracy and timely delivery across our network.

A track record in warehousing, strong leadership, and knowledge of safety regulations are essential. This is a permanent, full-time role with opportunities to mentor staff and drive cost-saving

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure inventory levels are sufficient to meet customer demand
• Supervise and train warehouse staff, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient order fulfillment and timely delivery of products
• Implement and maintain warehouse best practices to optimize efficiency and minimize costs
• Coordinate with vendors and carriers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, orders, or shipments
• Ensure temperature integrity for stock are maintained and data collected
• Escalate errors to the relevant Manager
• Ensure compliance of all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines by all direct reports
• Complete other duties as assigned
