Reward Hospitality is seeking an enthusiastic, self‑motivated and highly organised Warehouse Supervisor to effectively lead and manage the day‑to‑day operations teams, drive team performance and enhance the safety culture.
The role is responsible for the efficient supervision and coordination of all activities relating to warehouse operations as well as providing support to the Warehouse Manager to ensure the smooth running and day‑to‑day operation of the Warehouse. It is essential that the Warehouse Supervisor can clearly communicate business and customer needs to the operations team to ensure workload is prioritised.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Ensuring the efficiency of warehouse operations by managing, coaching and developing staff in your team through the effective use of KPIs and people management strategies.
- Supervising daily warehouse operations including loading and unloading goods, picking and packing orders, organising receipts, storage and despatching of goods with customer satisfaction being the primary goal.
- Working closely with the Warehouse management team to ensure that business needs, training & safety requirements are met and processes & procedures are always adhered to.
- Upholding strong Health and Safety standards and ensuring team commitment to safety at all times.
- Proven people management and leadership skills with the ability to build a collaborative working environment.
- Hands‑on, solutions oriented and ability to take ownership and accountability for actions and work as part of the team.
- Organisational and planning skills; self‑motivated and must have a strong work ethic; resilience and ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Three to five years of experience in a Supervisory role, preferably in a logistics or warehouse environment.
- Excellent communication skills and time management.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good computer skills in Outlook, Excel and ERP warehousing system such as PRONTO.
- Current QLD HR Forklift Licence and competency using a HR Forklift.
- Current QLD Drivers licence.
- Must have unrestricted right to work in Australia.
- Experience with inventory management and stock control procedures.
- Certificate in Warehousing & Distribution.
- Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) – PRONTO preferred but other systems considered.
