Job summary

Australian Staffing Agency (ASA) is seeking experienced Forklift Operators and Storepersons for a brand-new, state-of-the-art warehouse in Melbourne's Western Suburbs. This role offers day and afternoon shifts, ongoing work and strong hourly rates.

Responsibilities include operating LF High Reach, Counterbalance and Double Deep forklifts, loading/unloading, stock movement, RF scanning and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current LF forklift licence is required.
• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
• Experience with High Reach, Counterbalance and/or Double Deep forklifts preferred.
• Strong awareness of warehouse safety procedures is essential.

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Forklift Operators and Storepersons to join a rapidly expanding team at a brand-new, state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Melbourne's Western Suburbs for a leading international brand.

• Storepersons / Warehouse Operators

Shifts & Pay Rates

Day and Afternoon shifts available - Monday to Friday

• LF Forklift Operators: $39.70 - $44.50 per hour
• Storepersons: $36.10 - $40.40 per hour

All rates listed are casual hourly rates inclusive of applicable casual loading and shift penalties.

Shift preferences will be considered; however, preferred shifts cannot be guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your role, duties may include:

• Operating High Reach, Counterbalance and/or Double Deep forklifts
• Loading and unloading trucks and pallets
• Putaways, replenishment and stock movement
• Picking and packing orders
• RF scanning and product tracking
• Stock rotation and inventory control
• Assisting with cycle counts and stocktakes
• Operating pallet jacks, tuggers and other warehouse equipment
• General warehouse and storeperson duties
• Manual handling
• Completing quality checks
• Meeting daily productivity targets and KPIs
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
• Following all site safety procedures and warehouse processes

What We're Looking For

For forklift positions, you must have:

• A current Australian LF Forklift Licence
• Demonstrated experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
• Experience with High Reach, Counterbalance and/or Double Deep forklifts
• Strong awareness of warehouse safety procedures

For all positions:

• Previous warehouse, distribution or storeperson experience
• RF scanning experience is highly regarded
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and repetitive duties
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to meet productivity targets and operational deadlines
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Availability to work Monday to Friday
• Ability to attend a face-to-face interview and complete ASA's onboarding requirements
