Job summary

Freedom Furniture Australia Pty Limited – Essendon store is hiring a full-time warehouse teammate. Join a small warehouse, be physically fit for lifting heavy stock, and help with stock receiving, dispatching, assembly, and customer assistance.

You’ll work as part of a team, learn quickly, communicate effectively, and follow WH&S standards. The role requires rostered weekends and public holidays and offers a quarterly incentive, a development plan, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit for lifting heavy stock.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Intermediate computer skills for stock checking and related tasks.
• Awareness of WH&S standards and safe work practices.

What you'll be doing

This is a full time opportunity to join our Essendon store. Working as part of a team at a small warehouse at the store, you must be physically fit for lifting of heavy stock. Your responsibilities will include:

• Manual shifting, lifting, receiving, dispatching and storing stock within the warehouse.
• Receipting of stock.
• Assisting customers when dispatching stock.
• Assembly of products.
• Stock and inventory management.

You will have a strong desire to learn and to make a difference; a positive and proactive attitude; effective communication and intermediate computer skills, as well as an awareness of WH&S standards.
