Job summary

Harvey Norman Commercial Division seeks a Driver / Warehouse Storeperson Team Member for our Central Coast – Somersby Warehouse. You will ensure timely deliveries, review orders before dispatch, load/unload trucks and deliver exceptional customer service to our client base, while maintaining OH&S procedures.

You will work two days in Somersby and three days on the road with overnight stays. MR License is preferred but not essential; white card and LF/LO licenses are required to operate safely

Responsibilities

• Carry out instructions from Management/Supervisors.
• Check goods onto vehicle for condition, codes and quantities; complete Run sheets and obtain signatures.
• Liaise with customers regarding delivery via D-Track App.
• Conduct stock takes and prepare items as required.
• Assist warehouse team to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure uniforms and PPE are worn; maintain vehicle safety and housekeeping.
• Handle customer pick-ups and report incidents as required.
• Maintain punctuality and communicate absences with supervised line.

Harvey Norman Commercial Division is seeking a Driver / Warehouse Storeperson Team Member based at our Central Coast - Somersby Warehouse. This role is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers assist with reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base Ensure all procedures regarding inventory are maintained, be methodical in following OH&S procedures.

Please note this is a Full Time position:

• Working 2 days in our Somersby Warehouse
• ‘On Road’ for three days (Including overnight stays)
• MR License is preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

• Carry out instructions as directed from Management and/or Supervisors
• check goods onto vehicle – condition of goods, product codes and quantities - complete Run sheets as required – obtain signatures/names etc. of customers upon delivery. Complete all necessary paperwork.
• Liaise with customers regarding delivery of goods via D-Track App
• Stock take - Preparation as required and requested
• Assist the warehouse team
• Uniforms - Ensure Company supplied shirts and Hi visibility vests are worn at all times. Ensure that footwear is appropriate for warehouse safety.
• Vehicle - Ensure that vehicle (Truck is kept clean and driven in a safe manner as per Company Policy, as well as OH & S and Licensing regulations
• Customer Service - Treat customers with respect at all times. Facilitate Customer Pick-Ups
• Incidents - Report all incidents to immediate superior and complete Incident Report Forms as required.
• Attendance - Ensure punctuality (use of finger scanners for commencement and completion of working day) Telephone personally (where possible) any absences directly to immediate superior. Supply medical certificates for absences of 2 or more days.
