Job summary

Zhik Pty Ltd is hiring a Warehouse Storeperson for its St Leonards warehouse on a contract basis until 15 February 2027. The role requires 1–2 years of warehouse experience, strong organisational skills and attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key tasks include picking/packing, receiving goods, loading/unloading, operating a reach truck and order pickers, stock checks, and assisting with stocktakes while complying with OH&S policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of warehouse experience.
• Physically fit to handle repetitive heavy lifting up to 25kg.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
• Must have current Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pick and pack products.
• Receive incoming goods, check for damage and discrepancies against invoices.
• Unload vehicles, open packages and remove contents.
• Operate reach truck to locate stock stored on pallets.
• Operate computers to obtain details of location and quantity of items in stock.
• Label goods with details of storage location.
• Pack and weigh goods and seal boxes.
• Assist with regular stocktakes.
• May use materials handling equipment to move goods.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as required.
• Maintain OH&S standards.

Job description

We are hiring a Warehouse Storeperson to join our Warehouse Department on a contract basis until 15 February 2027. Our warehouse is based in St. Leonards.

Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse experience is required for this position.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pick and pack products


• Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices


• Unload vehicles, opening packages and removing contents


• Operate reach truck to locate stock stored on pallets


• Operate computers to obtain details of location and quantity of items in stock


• Labelling goods with details of storage location


• Packing and weighing goods and sealing boxes


• Operating specialised equipment, (electronic order pickers), and checking goods off picking list


• Assisting with regular stocktakes


• May use materials handling equipment, such as an electric reach truck and hydraulic pallet lifters, to move goods


• Assisting with other warehouse duties as required.


• Working with the warehouse team to ensure accuracy and high standards of service are maintained at all times while complying with our OH&S policies

Requirements
