Job summary

Programmed Skilled Workforce is recruiting for a Warehouse Storeperson / Forklift Operator in Luscombe, Gold Coast. The role covers picking, packing, stock control and forklift duties with a strong focus on accuracy and safety.

The successful candidate will join a busy warehouse, supporting day-to-day operations from receiving to dispatch, while maintaining stock records and contributing to a safe working environment. Monday to Friday, permanent full-time role.

Qualifications

• Current QLD (or Australian equivalent) Driver's Licence.
• Previous warehouse, stores, logistics or dispatch experience.
• Experience operating a forklift safely and confidently.
• Experience handling long or bulky materials, ideally up to 6 metres.
• A safety-first approach.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, check and put away incoming stock.
• Load and unload trucks and containers.
• Operate an LF forklift safely and efficiently.
• Move and handle long-length materials, including products up to 6 metres.
• Prepare orders for dispatch.
• Assist with freight and delivery requirements.
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stocktakes/cycle counts.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
• Follow company safety, quality and warehouse procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
• Work independently when required while contributing to the wider warehouse team.

Programmed Skilled Workforce is partnering with a global leader in height safety and fall protection systems, to recruit a Warehouse Storeperson / Forklift Operator for their QLD operation in Luscombe.

This is a hands-on warehouse position suited to someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in getting the job done accurately and safely, and is comfortable working independently when required.

About the Role

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day warehouse operation across picking, packing, receiving, dispatch and forklift duties.

While forklift operation is an important part of the position, the majority of the role will be focused on picking, packing and general warehouse activities.

You will work closely with the wider team to ensure stock is received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately and on time.

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will ideally have:

• Current QLD (Or Australian Equivalent) Driver's License
• Previous warehouse, stores, logistics or dispatch experience
• Experience operating a forklift safely and confidently
• Experience handling long or bulky materials, ideally up to 6 metres
• A strong work ethic and sense of urgency
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• A safety-first approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Previous experience with ERP or warehouse systems would be advantageous
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, aluminium or similar environments would be beneficial, but is not essential.
