Job summary

Prices Plus is seeking a reliable casual storeperson to join our warehouse crew at the Yatala distribution centre. You will be hands-on with unloading containers, receiving stock, storing items correctly, picking store orders and packing cartons for dispatch.

The role runs Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm with shifts rostered within those hours, and there is a genuine pathway to a permanent position for the right person. A safety‑first, supportive team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LF forklift licence.
• Physically fit for heavy lifting and container unloading.
• Commit to safety procedures, PPE and reporting concerns.
• Keen eye for detail to ensure accurate orders.
• Reliable, punctual and present when rostered.
• Good reading, writing and numeracy skills.
• Comfortable using a computer and handheld RF scanners.

Prices Plus is a discount variety retailer, and our Yatala distribution centre looks after the supply chain for all our stores. We’re on the look‑out for a reliable casual storeperson to join our warehouse crew—with the option for it to turn into a permanent position for the right person.

The job

Our warehouse operates Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm, and shifts are rostered within those hours. You’ll be working in a small, hands‑on team where no two days are a carbon copy, but generally, you'll be:

• Unloading shipping containers
• Receiving and checking off incoming stock
• Storing stock away accurately
• Picking store orders
• Packing cartons and building pallets ready for dispatch

About you

• You hold a current LF forklift licence (this is a must-have)
• You're physically fit and don't mind heavy lifting, carrying, and container unloading
• You take safety seriously following procedures, wearing your PPE, and speaking up if something isn't right
• You have a keen eye for detail because our stores rely on getting exactly what they ordered
• You’re reliable, punctual, and show up when you're supposed to
• You have decent reading, writing, and math skills
• You're comfortable using a computer and handheld RF scanners
