Job summary

Allan Hall Business Advisors – Byron Bay NSW is seeking a hands-on Warehouse/Storeperson to ensure timely receipt of goods, assist with loading and unloading, and support warehouse and branch activities at Greentech Byron Bay.

You will work in a busy, supportive team to keep the warehouse running smoothly day to day, embracing a proactive attitude and a flexible approach to duties in a growing energy distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive, proactive attitude and pride in getting the job done properly.
• Able to manage own time and work independently as a self-starter.
• Capable of manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, safely.
• Willing to be on your feet all day in a physically demanding role.
• Team player with willingness to help customers when needed.
• Forklift licence would be advantageous; MR/HR licences viewed favourably.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch and ensure items are well packaged.
• Receive goods from suppliers, checking undamaged condition and accuracy.
• Prepare orders on time to support customer service.
• Load, unload and move stock safely around the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable warehouse environment.
• Support customers and branch team as needed.
• Perform ad-hoc duties to support branch operations.

Allan Hall Business Advisors - Byron Bay NSW

Your new role:

Based at Greentech Byron Bay, you will be responsible for ensuring goods are received from suppliers on time and undamaged, assisting with loading and unloading products and supporting various warehouse and branch activities as required.

This is a hands-on role within a busy branch where you'll work closely with a supportive, close-knit team and help keep the warehouse running smoothly day to day.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch, ensuring items are properly packaged and ready for shipment.


• Receive goods from suppliers, ensuring they are undamaged and match the orders placed.


• Ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time to support excellent customer service.


• Load, unload and move stock safely around the warehouse.


• Keep the warehouse organised, clean and presentable, adhering to safety standards.


• Support customers and the wider branch team when needed.


• Perform various ad-hoc duties around the branch to support smooth operations.

Whatyou’llneed to succeed:

While previous warehouse or storeperson experience would be advantageous, it isn't essential. More importantly, we're looking for someone with the right attitude - someone positive, proactive, dependable and willing to get stuck in. If you bring a strong work ethic and the right mentality, the rest can be taught.

• Have a positive, proactive attitude and take pride in getting the job done properly.


• Be excellent at managing your own time and a real 'self-starter'; you don't need someone watching over your shoulder to get things done.


• Be able to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, in accordance with safe work practices.


• Be more than happy to move around on your feet all day - this role can be physically demanding at times and requires someone fit with a \"can-do\" attitude!


• Work well in a team and be prepared to jump in and help with customers when needed.


• A forklift licence would be highly advantageous, while an MR or HR licence would also be highly regarded.


• Have full Australian working rights with no restrictions - Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or Australian Permanent Resident, as sponsorship is not offered for this position.
