Job summary

Programmed are seeking physically fit and reliable Sorters to join a busy distribution centre in Eastern Creek. This hands-on role supports one of Australia’s largest retail distribution operations, involving handling boxed stock with lifting, stacking and palletising duties.

Shifts available include Day 5:00am–1:30pm and Afternoon 2:30pm–11:00pm, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work and 2 RDOs each month. Onsite parking and immediate starts available.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual handling.
• Experience in warehousing, distribution, labouring, manufacturing, logistics or similar.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Stacking and palletising boxed retail products, with pallet heights reaching up to 2 metres.
• Sorting and packing products into stillages and pallets for distribution.
• Manually wrap pallets using shrink wrap.
• Repetitive lifting and manual handling in a fast-paced environment.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Assisting with general housekeeping to maintain a safe and efficient warehouse.
• Manual handling of products weighing up to 25-30kg.
