Job summary

Staples is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our supply chain team in a on-site Tasmania location. You may move between roles including Bulk/Material Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping based on business needs.

Roles involve operating forklifts or similar equipment to handle product up to 100 lbs, with safety first. The position offers full-time hours with potential overtime and a competitive pay rate including a shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Overtime may be required for full-time associates.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, electric pallet jacks) to pick/move product up to 100 lbs.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance while adhering to safety procedures.
• Replenish, receive/putaway and returns processing; communicate with colleagues to resolve issues.
• Prepare and ship orders; stack and shrink-wrap on pallets; load trucks manually.
• Ensure accurate product matching to packing slips for returns.
• Adhere to safety culture and participate in continuous safety improvements.
