Job summary

Home Delivery Services in Dandenong is seeking motivated Picker/Packer staff for our ambient 3PL operation. These casual roles offer a genuine pathway to full-time employment for reliable, hardworking people ready to hit the ground running.

You will be picking and packing orders, lifting boxes up to 12–14 kg, and operating with RF scanning and WMS/ERP systems. Shifts are approximately 7:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting up to 12–14 kg throughout shifts.
• Reliable team player with the ability to meet daily productivity targets.
• Experience in warehouse pick/pack roles preferred (3PL or DC background advantageous).
• RF scanning experience and familiarity with WMS/ERP systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately to daily targets.
• Perform heavy lifting of boxes up to 12–14 kg throughout shifts.
• Use RF scanning and WMS/ERP systems to process orders.
• Ensure orders meet quality and accuracy standards prior to dispatch.

HDS is one of Australia’s fastest-growing logistics providers and we’re expanding our Dandenong team. We have multiple Picker/Packer positions available in our ambient 3PL operation and we’re looking for motivated, hard-working people who are ready to hit the ground running. These are casual roles with a genuine pathway to full-time employment for the right candidates.

The Opportunity:

This is a fast-paced, physically demanding role in an ambient warehouse environment. You’ll be picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently, handling boxes ranging from 12–14kg throughout your shift. We’re ideally looking for people who can commit to approximately 5 days per week across a Monday to Friday roster, with occasional weekend shifts also available. Shift times are approximately 7:30am to 3:30pm, though as a casual role shift availability may vary week to week based on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently to daily productivity targets
• Perform consistent heavy lifting of boxes up to approx.12–14kg throughout your shift
• Use RF scanning and WMS/ERP systems to process and confirm orders accurately
• Ensure all orders meet quality and accuracy standards prior to dispatch
• Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team to keep the operation running smoothly
• Adhere to all WHS requirements and maintain a clean and safe work area at all times

You’ll Bring:

• The physical fitness and capability to perform consistent heavy lifting (12–14kg) throughout your shift
• Previous warehouse pick/pack experience – 3PL or distribution centre background highly regarded
• RF scanning experience beneficial – WMS or ERP system experience ideal
• Availability to commit to approximately 5 days per week – Mon–Fri with occasional weekend shifts
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to safety and accuracy
