Job summary

Preshafood is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator for our Derrimut, Melbourne facility. The role involves receiving, storing and dispatching materials, operating forklifts, and supporting production in a safe, efficient food manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will manage stock locations, help with stocktakes, and maintain clean, organised storage areas while working closely with warehouse and production teams to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift license.
• Experience with warehouse and production forklift tasks.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Experience in food and/or beverage manufacturing environment.
• Strong time management, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Receive and put away raw materials, packaging and other goods
• Pick, prepare and dispatch finished goods
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
• Supply materials to production and return unused stock
• Manage stock locations, rotation and inventory movements
• Assist with stocktakes and inventory checks
• Support production when required
• Keep the warehouse and storage areas clean, organised and safe
• Assist with the upkeep of forklifts and warehouse equipment
• Work closely with the warehouse and production teams
• Carry out other warehouse and forklift duties as required
