Job summary

Lawrence & Hanson in Australia is seeking a capable Warehouse Operative to support stock receiving, inventory control, picking, packing and dispatching stock for our distribution network.

You will work with the Supply team, adhere to safety practices, complete stock counts, release and invoice orders, and maintain high standards of warehouse housekeeping. Forklift licence LF/LO is preferred.

Qualifications

• Eye for detail and accuracy in order processing.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Organised with a can-do attitude and reliability.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health & Safety practices and maintain a safe work environment.
• Accurately pick, pack and dispatch customer and branch orders.
• Receive stock, check against delivery advice, receipted and stored correctly.
• Move inventory using available technology and systems.
• Conduct inventory counts, cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Release and invoice orders.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse housekeeping.
• Perform cable cutting accurately if trained, minimising waste.
