Job summary

Tyremax, a leading tyre wholesaler, is seeking a Warehouse Operator at our Newcastle Distribution Centre. The role focuses on stock movement, despatch, loading, and delivering to customers 1-2 times per week, within two fixed shift options.

We are looking for reliable, motivated individuals with warehouse experience; forklift licence is essential, car licence required, MR licence advantageous, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stock management, movement and handling to ensure efficiency and high service levels.
• Despatch, pick, load delivery vans and check quantities.
• Unload incoming stock and replenish stock locations; maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse.
• Deliver to customers 1–2 times per week.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for reliable and motivated Warehouse Operators who enjoy hands‑on work and thrive in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

We offer two permanent shift options to suit different lifestyles and commitments:

• 7:00am – 3:00pm – Ideal for early starters who enjoy finishing their workday earlier and having their afternoons free.
• 10:00am – 6:00pm – Perfect for those who prefer a later start while still enjoying a consistent Monday to Friday schedule.

Primarily, the role of the Warehouse Operator is to assist with the management, movement and handling of stock to ensure operational efficiency and high levels of customer service.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a similar position and be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

• Warehouse Despatch.
• Pick product ensuring accurate attention to detail is maintained at all times.
• Placing of product in designated despatch area prior to loading into the delivery vehicles.
• Assist with the loading of delivery vans and the double checking of product for delivery.
• Warehouse Receivables and Stock Replenishment.
• Unloading incoming stock from delivery vehicles/containers.
• Checking incoming stock against delivery dockets for quality and quantity.
• Placement of incoming stock into designated stock locations.
• Re‑stocking of picking locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse and external hardstand areas.
• Delivering to customers 1-2 times per week.
