Job summary

Jaybro is seeking a Warehouse Operator at Carole Park to keep the warehouse running smoothly. You will receive, verify, store, pick, pack and dispatch goods while maintaining accurate inventory and coordinating with carriers.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 5:30am–2:00pm, with a focus on safety and teamwork within a growing civil construction supplier.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years' experience in warehousing/distribution.
  • Forklift license is a must; counterbalance/high reach beneficial.
  • Strong commitment to safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Receive shipments and verify condition and accuracy.
  • Document and log deliveries in the inventory system.
  • Safely store goods in designated locations.
  • Pick and pack orders based on requests.
  • Maintain inventory records including stock levels and movement.
  • Assist in periodic inventory audits.
  • Prepare shipments and coordinate with carriers.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment following safety protocols.

Are you an energetic, hands-on person who enjoys keeping things moving? Jaybro at Carole Park is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our growing team!

As a Warehouse Operator, you'll play an important role in keeping our warehouse running efficiently. The focus of this role is to ensure all goods are received and stored correctly, and customer orders are picked, checked, packed, dispatched correctly.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday with working hours of 5:30am to 2:00pm.

Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials, checking for accuracy and verifying the condition of the items.
  • Ensure all deliveries are properly documented and logged in the inventory management system.
  • Safely and efficiently store goods and materials in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Pick and pack orders based on customer requests or internal requisitions.
  • Regularly update and maintain inventory records, including stock levels, stock movement, and expiration dates (if applicable).
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventory audits.
  • Prepare shipments for outbound delivery, and coordinate with shipping carriers or logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools, following safety protocols.
Requirements
  • 1+ years' experience in warehousing and/or distribution
