Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor based in Townsville to lead daily warehouse operations, maintain inventory accuracy and drive safety. You’ll oversee receiving, storage, picking, dispatch and customer pickups, partnering with sales and service teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

The role emphasizes safe work practices, continuous improvement and alignment with company policies. An onsite Townsville position offers hands-on leadership and operational impact.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising warehouse or logistics operations.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
• ERP system experience, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• LF Forklift Licence.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, replenishment, picking, storage and dispatch.
• Lead safe work practices and maintain workplace health and safety standards across the site.
• Manage inventory accuracy, warehouse transactions and physical stock control processes.
• Coordinate cycle counts and stocktake activities to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure warehouse systems and records are maintained in line with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service and other business functions to support customer outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency and operational performance.
• Develop team capability through training, coaching and performance reviews.
