Job summary

Qube Energy is seeking a Warehouse Officer to join a small team in Onslow, with FIFO from Perth. The role focuses on safely and efficiently managing materials, including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping to meet customer requirements.

This 12-month contract involves a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster and active participation in safety initiatives. The successful candidate will handle inventory transactions, use Oracle/JDE and Microsoft tools, and apply 5S principles to ensure

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory transactions and warehouse processes.
• Ability to safely load/unload trucks and handle materials.
• Familiar with 5S workplace standards and safe work practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform goods receipt, putaway, pick, pack, ship as required.
• Process returns with diligence and accuracy.
• Maintain inventory records and complete associated paperwork; routine cycle counts.
• Operate equipment safely and according to training.
• Maintain 5S standards in the workplace.
• Ensure quarantine management compliance before shipping materials.
• Support loading/unloading trucks and accurate receipting of materials.
• Perform other reasonable tasks within capability and training.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Warehouse Officer will typically work as part of a small team performing well defined tasks where there is a specific objective and outcome. The primary objectives of this role is to safely and efficiently execute management of materials in a warehouse environment; to receive, put away, preserve, manage, pick and process items as per customer requirements.

Location: Onslow, FIFO from Perth

Roster: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Employment: 12 month contract

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• System transactions, Goods Receipt, Putaway, Preserve, Pick, Pack, Ship materials as per supply chain demand. Take individual responsibility for accuracy and completing inventory transactions.
• Process returns with the same diligence as outbound materials.
• Be proficient in inventory management and associated Microsoft systems, Oracle / JDE, SAT / Excel, DC LINK, ALE / CMR
• Routinely cycle count inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Actively work to keep the workplace clean and safe, using the 5S principles of Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise and Sustain.
• Ensure Quarantine Management Plan for location is read and applied to material and cargo processing.
• Ensure the correct level of quarantine compliance has been executed prior to shipping ensuring equipment has been subject to the correct pest treatments and is free from Quarantine Risk Material.
• Operate equipment and machinery with care and in a safe manor.
• Safely load and unload trucks of various configurations and sizes in a timely manner. Unload vehicles accurately and within specified time limits with a focus ensuring materials are physically receipted correctly, employing appropriate manual handling behaviours.
• Any other reasonable request or task that is within their physical capability and skill set and in which they have been trained to the required standard.
