Job summary

Focus Minerals is seeking a Warehouse Storeperson on an 8/6 roster. You will support end-to-end warehousing, including receiving, storing, dispatching, stock control, and liaising with freight providers on a mining site.

Key tasks include forklift operations, stocktakes, and maintaining safety and organisation within the warehouse. Prior mining stores experience is preferred; strong communication and IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• FIFO experience required and minimum 2 years in a stores/warehousing role.
• Physically fit for manual handling tasks and forklift use.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and PRONTO systems.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capability.
• Able to liaise with Accounts Payable and support information requests.
• Maintain clean, safe and organised warehouse areas.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and dispatch product, machinery, spare parts and accessories.
• Identify, count, receipted and locate incoming goods/materials.
• Complete order fulfillment and transportation activities.
• Load/unload using forklift or manual handling equipment.
• Coordinate with third party freight providers and schedule pickups.
• Participate in stocktakes and provide status reports to supervisor.
• Label and locate future growth stock in warehouse bins.
• Comply with policies and maintain safety standards.
• Undertake other tasks as required and communicate with customers.
