Job summary

DOF is seeking a proactive Warehouse Assistant based in our WA warehouse (Kewdale) to support mobilisation, demobilisation and inventory control. You will work with project teams, freight forwarders and marine agents to ensure safe handling and timely delivery of equipment and materials.

Responsibilities include receiving, packing, documenting shipments, maintaining storage and asset registers, and complying with safety and DOF procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment.
• Qualification in Warehousing, Logistics or a related field (preferred).
• Experience using electronic inventory or warehouse management systems.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence.
• Forklift Licence.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Sound understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobilisation and demobilisation of project equipment through the warehouse and port locations.
• Receive, unload and inspect purchased goods and CPI, ensuring compliance with DOF requirements.
• Coordinate packing and shipment of equipment and materials to domestic and international locations.
• Maintain logistics and customs documentation for imports and exports.
• Prepare shipment documents: manifests, packing lists, invoices, consignment paperwork.
• Liaise with Project Managers, freight forwarders, marine agents, suppliers and customers on logistics.
• Support goods receipting within company systems.
