Job summary

Reyes Holdings is hiring a Warehouse Leading Hand in Adelaide to support the shift supervisor, drive team performance, and ensure safe, compliant operations in a dedicated DC. You will coordinate workloads, supervise pick/dispatch activities, and mentor operatives on safety and process adherence.

The role requires a forklift licence (including high-reach), strong communication, and willingness to work shifts with possible overtime. Background checks apply.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a group and drive performance.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and food safety an advantage.
  • Willingness to undertake shift work and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the shift supervisor in ensuring workplace output, productivity level and compliance
  • Coordinate work in the team to ensure completion of work in a timely and accurate manner to meet dispatch requirements and fulfill on time delivery targets
  • Champion the company policies and procedures and ensure the team is adhering to all safety, quality and other national requirements
  • Provide training to operatives as and when required
  • Conduct audit of pick schedules as well as oversee and audit inventory and cycle counting procedures
  • Undertaking additional tasks as directed
About You:
  • Ability to lead a group and drive performance results
  • Effective and professional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Reliable with a positive demeanour
  • A team player with attention to detail and advocate for safe work practices
  • Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and food safety principles is an advantage.
  • Forklift licence/certificate (MHE) including high- reach is essential
  • Willingness to undertake shift work and overtime as needed
  • Ability to meet the role requirements and undertake pre-employment background and medical (including Drug and alcohol) testing
