Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support various construction, landscaping and manufacturing sites. The role offers strong weekly pay, casual ongoing shifts and immediate start. You’ll perform general labour tasks across multiple projects and support skilled trades on site.

Eligible candidates should have at least 12 months of general labour experience, a Construction White Card, and a valid driver licence with reliable transport. PPE is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliability and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required
• Site preparation across multiple sites
