Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support a range of construction, landscaping and warehouse projects. You will handle site prep, material handling and assist trades, with reliable transport and a can-do attitude. Immediate start and ongoing casual shifts are available with strong weekly earnings.

Earn $35.11 per hour plus 11.5% super and a $22 daily travel allowance. Weekly pay every Thursday and opportunities to move into permanent roles are offered.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred).
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clean-up.
• Wheelbarrowing materials.
• Digging and trenching.
• Lifting and carrying materials.
• Packing and stacking.
• Assembling products.
• Assisting qualified tradespeople.
• General labouring duties as required.
