Job summary

BlueScope Lysaght Tweed Heads is seeking a Storeperson to join our local team. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role where you’ll help keep the branch running safely and smoothly.

You’ll receive and pick orders, operate a forklift, load customer vehicles and prepare products for dispatch, contributing to accurate stock and timely deliveries. You’ll work with a small, supportive team, learn our warehousing and ERP processes, and develop practical skills that build reliability and customer

Qualifications

• Forklift licence and proven forklift experience.
• Safety-first mindset and wellbeing of others.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics or building products.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Basic computer skills, SAP/ERP/Excel familiarity.
• Organised with ability to stay on task.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods, check quality, confirm quantities and receipt stock into our system.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately from stock held on site.
• Load customer vehicles and outbound orders safely by hand and forklift.
• Prepare dispatch paperwork, scanning and manifesting products through our ERP system.
• Support stock control, cycle counting and general inventory accuracy.
• Work with the customer service team to check orders and resolve practical issues.
• Help maintain a safe, organised site where people look out for each other.
