Job summary

Labourforce is seeking a Warehouse / Forklift Operator in Hillcrest, QLD. The role involves loading and unloading trucks, stocking, yard maintenance, and keeping sheds and storage areas clean and safe. You will operate counterbalance and high-reach forklifts in a busy warehouse environment.

Shift is Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, with a $36.78 per hour rate and weekly pay. This position suits someone hands-on, reliable, and safety-focused who can work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Current forklift LF licence is essential.
• Experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
• Experience with high-reach forklifts.
• Previous warehouse, transport or yard experience.
• Able to perform general cleaning and yard maintenance.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using a counterbalance forklift.
• Put away and relocate stock using a high-reach forklift.
• Maintain the yard and keep sheds/storage areas tidy and safe.
• Clean and keep storage areas organised.
• Move and organise stock throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and manual handling as required.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
