Job summary

Qualifications

• Hold a current driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
• Recent warehousing or stock management experience preferred.
• Experience driving delivery vehicles is advantageous.
• Forklift operation knowledge or certification is desirable.
• Strong organisation and time management skills are required.
• Able to lift heavy items and maintain accuracy in records.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and record incoming stock into the warehouse system.
• Organise and maintain inventory in designated areas with proper rotation.
• Prepare orders for dispatch including picking, packing, labeling.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic truck maintenance checks.
• Drive delivery vehicles to transport steel products to customers.
• Load and unload vehicles using appropriate handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock movements and delivery docs.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Communicate stock and delivery matters with team, management and customers.
