Job summary

Neway Transport is seeking a warehouse coordinator and delivery driver to support stock handling and customer deliveries across Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast regions.

The role involves coordinating warehouse operations three days a week and delivering furniture two days (Mondays & Thursdays). You will work with the main driver and may start early or finish late during peak periods, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, furniture handling, or delivery driving.
• Physically fit with ability to lift heavy items.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Able to work independently and with a team.
• Professional when interacting with customers and suppliers.

• Organising and maintaining warehouse inventory.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
• Assisting with stock movements and customer orders.
• Delivering new furniture products to residential and commercial customers.
• Safely loading, transporting and unloading furniture items.
• Completing deliveries across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast regions.
• No weekend work but this job may require early starts or late finishes occasionally.

Job description

The successful applicant will be responsible for warehouse coordination (3 days per week) and furniture deliveries (2 days per week, Mondays & Thursdays). The delivery days will generally align with our main delivery driver servicing the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast areas, providing additional support during our busiest delivery periods.

About you

• Experienced in warehousing, furniture handling and/or delivery driving
• Physically fit and capable of safely lifting heavy furniture items
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Strong work ethic and takes pride in completing jobs properly
• Safety-focused with good manual handling practices
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional when dealing with customers and suppliers
• Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred
