Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Blacktown-based Warehouse Assistant to join our casual staffing team. Earn $35.11 per hour, plus 11.5% super and a $22 daily travel allowance. Immediate start with ongoing casual assignments and weekly pay each Thursday.

Role involves varied duties across landscaping, construction, warehouse fit-outs and general labour. You’ll work with reputable employers and have pathways into permanent employment where possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card is required.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred).
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clean-up.
• Wheelbarrowing materials.
• Digging and trenching.
• Lifting and carrying materials.
• Packing and stacking.
• Assisting qualified tradespeople.
• General labouring duties as required.
