Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Mackay is seeking a Store Person to join our team on day shift, with on-site work and training provided.

Whether you have warehousing experience or are new to the role, we are happy to train the right candidate to become a skilled stock controller. You will receive, pack, and dispatch orders, maintain stock records, and work closely with internal teams and suppliers to keep inventory accurate and safe.

Qualifications

• Previous warehousing or stores experience is a plus, training provided.
• Forklift licence or ticket advantageous.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills.
• Able to work independently with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Strong communication and team orientation required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods against invoices, sort, label, and store stock safely to optimize warehouse space
• Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing orders on schedule
• Process orders and enter data to keep inventory records accurate
• Conduct regular cycle counts and stocktakes to maintain stock control
• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and transport partners regarding deliveries and orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
