Job summary

Aurora Resourcing & Talent, a Perth-based recruitment and labour hire agency, is seeking 2-3 experienced Warehouse Assistants for a short-term assignment of 1-2 months. You will join a hands-on team and support warehousing, stock control and deliveries.

Ideal candidates hold a current Driver's Licence and a Forklift/H.R. licence, have warehousing experience, and are reliable, safety-focused and able to work full-time for the assignment period.

Job description

We are currently seeking 2-3 experienced Warehouse Assistants for a short-term assignment, expected to run for approximately 1-2 months.

This is a hands-on warehouse position suited to reliable, safety-focused people with previous warehousing experience and a current forklift licence.

The Role

Working as part of the warehouse team, your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving incoming goods, checking deliveries against documentation and correctly storing stock
• Packaging, preparing and loading goods for dispatch
• Completing goods receival, dispatch and consignment paperwork
• Operating forklifts for loading, unloading and movement of warehouse materials
• Conducting rolling stocktakes and assisting with inventory management
• Cleaning, inspecting and measuring pipe and related components in accordance with QA/QC procedures
• Maintaining warehouse equipment and completing pre-start checks
• Keeping warehouse and work areas clean, organised and free from hazards
• Completing local deliveries and pickups from customers and suppliers
• Assisting with basic assembly of tools and recording parts used
• Following all site safety, quality and company procedures

To be considered, you must have:

• Current Driver's Licence
• Current Forklift Licence / High Risk Work Licence (LF)
• Previous warehouse or stores experience
• Previous forklift operating experience
• Good attention to detail and inventory accuracy
• Ability to safely load, unload and secure goods
• Good communication skills
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliability and availability for the full 1-2 month assignment
