Job summary

NJC Solar is seeking a reliable Warehouse/Trade Assistant to join our Kingsgrove-based team. You will start at 6:00 am from the Kingsgrove warehouse, pack equipment for daily jobs, and drive to sites to support installers. When not on site, you’ll maintain the warehouse and stock levels.

No solar or electrical experience is needed as the role is hands-on labouring and logistical support. The position offers early finishes, a company vehicle for work, and ongoing casual Monday to Friday work.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence (LF) required.
• Valid full driver licence required.
• Experience towing a trailer is highly regarded.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Reliable, punctual and able to start early.
• Willing to work Monday to Friday, casual role.

Responsibilities

• Pack the day’s jobs: solar panels, batteries, inverters, install kits and rails.
• Drive to site with installers and assist on site as required.
• Carry out labouring and site clean-up tasks.
• Keep warehouse clean, perform stocktakes and collect stock from suppliers.

Warehouse Assistant / Trade Assistant – Solar Installations

NJC Solar is an Australian-owned solar and electrical company based in Kingsgrove, NSW. Since 2019, we've been delivering residential and commercial solar, battery storage and EV charging systems across Sydney, Wollongong and the Central Coast. We're known for quality workmanship and careful system design, not cutting corners.

Our installations are carried out by our own employed team, and we're now looking for a reliable third team member to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes and on site.

About the role

You’ll work alongside our installation team, making sure every job starts on time with the right gear and finishes faster with an extra pair of hands when required.

A typical day:

Start at our Kingsgrove warehouse at 6:00 am.

Use company vehicle and trailer pack the day's jobs: solar panels, batteries, inverters, install kits and rail etc.

Drive to site and meet the installers between 7:30 and 8:00 am.

When required, spend time on site helping the team: carrying and moving materials, general labouring and site clean-up.

When not required to help on site, keep the warehouse clean and organised, complete stocktakes and pick up stock from wholesalers.

Head back to finish your day, generally arriving back to Kingsgrove within 8 hours of your start time.

No solar or electrical experience needed. The on-site work is hands-on labouring support, not technical installation work. We'll show you how we do things.

Current forklift licence (LF high risk work licence)
