Job summary

Oriem’s Seven Hills branch is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Assistant to support warehousing, production and deliveries with a strong customer-service mindset. You will load and deliver items to sites, assist at the trade counter, and help with order processing.

The role requires a current driver’s licence and physical fitness for a fast-paced environment. Forklift licence is advantageous, and training is provided. Hours: Mon-Fri 6:30am–4:30pm; Sat 7:00am–11:00am (rotating).

Qualifications

• No industry experience required; full on-the-job training provided.

• Willingness to work in a hands-on, all-rounder role across warehousing, production and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Tipper delivery driving and delivery to sites.
• Load, strap down and deliver items to site safely.

• Greet customers at the trade counter and advise on products.
• Process sales orders and handle phone/counter enquiries efficiently.

Oriem is a fast-growing company that supplies concrete steel reinforcement, accessories, tools and many other items to the concrete construction industry.

Our branch in Seven is looking for a Driver/Warehouse Assistant who is passionate about customer service and building strong relationships with our trade customers. What can you expect in this role?

Tipper Delivery Driving - Comfortable to drive on Sydney roads. The ability to load, strap down and deliver items to site safely. (car license required)

Warehousing duties - Includes packing orders, receiving incoming goods, Tipper (delivery) driving, manual production/machine operating.

Relationship Building - Maintaining a professional, friendly presence that keeps customers coming back.

Product Knowledge - developing a strong understanding of our range of concrete reinforcement, accessories, and tools to confidently advise customers

Store Presentation - keeping the trade counter and showroom tidy, well-stocked, and well-presented

Sales & Customer Service - greeting customers at the trade counter, understanding their requirements, and recommending the right products and solutions

Order Processing - quoting, processing sales orders, and handling phone and counter enquiries efficiently

Teamwork - supporting the branch team, embracing Oriem's values, policies, and procedures, and pitching in with picking/packing or loading when needed

This is a true all-rounder position with genuine room to grow. You'll have the opportunity to build skills and take on responsibilities across warehousing, production, and deliveries/driving, giving you exposure to the full end-to-end operation and a clear path to develop within the business.

You'll receive full on-the-job training in our products and systems.
