Job summary

Harmony Agriculture & Food Company in the Murrindindi Shire, Victoria is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead elite Fullblood Wagyu breeders and staff across the 5,000-acre aggregation. The role blends hands-on livestock management with modern ag-tech platforms to deliver paddock-to-plate outcomes.

Reporting to the Aggregation Manager, you will oversee breeding programs, ai/ET, husbandry, mustering, and infrastructure upgrades, while fostering a safety‑driven, collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing elite Fullblood Wagyu breeders, calves, heifers, and young stock.
• Coordinate livestock husbandry, mustering, yard work, health treatments, and breeding programs (AI/ET).
• Drive adoption of ag-tech platforms to build operational insights.
• Maintain and upgrade property infrastructure and fencing across aggregation properties.
• Safely operate vehicles and machinery including CF Moto UTVs.
• Support pasture improvement, fertiliser application, weed control, and farm development.
