Linde Material Handling Pty. Ltd. (Apac-Aus) in Huntingwood NSW is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer – Vulnerability Management to join our global Cyber Defense Centre and contribute to the vulnerability management lifecycle.

This role offers a hybrid arrangement with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. The successful candidate will plan and execute internal penetration testing across infrastructure, web apps, APIs and cloud environments, lead enterprise assessments, and design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Security, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity experience with hands-on vulnerability management, penetration testing and security automation.
• Strong offensive security skills across web, API and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in scripting for automation (Python, Bash, JavaScript) and API integration of security tooling.
• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and AI-driven vulnerability tools; relevant certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal penetration testing across infrastructure, web applications, APIs and cloud environments, providing actionable findings and remediation guidance.
• Lead enterprise vulnerability assessments ensuring broad coverage across systems, applications and cloud environments with risk context for remediation prioritization.
• Architect, operate and enhance the vulnerability management platform and scanning infrastructure for scalability and integration with security workflows.
• Design and implement automation strategies to optimize vulnerability detection, assessment and remediation workflows.
• Develop and maintain security tooling, scripts and platform integrations to extend vulnerability management capabilities.
• Evaluate, integrate and operationalize AI-driven approaches to improve detection, risk prioritization and security assessment workflows.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of vulnerability management processes, policies and standards.
• Participate in the global Cyber Security Global Team calls (local evening time).
