Job summary

Yerrabi Yurwang Child & Family Aboriginal Corporation seeks a General Practitioner (VR) to lead our AGPAL/QIC accredited affiliate in Macquarie, Yerrabi Health. You will provide patient-centred primary care and guide clinical services within a culturally safe framework.

Reporting to the CEO, you will ensure coordinated care across a network of allied health staff, support Medicare billing, and contribute to strategic health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Qualifications

• FRACGP registration or equivalent required or actively pursuing.
• Current medical indemnity insurance required.
• Sound understanding of Aboriginal health issues, knowledge and culture.
• Experience engaging Aboriginal people in health services.
• Proven ability to arrange, coordinate, promote and deliver GP clinical services.
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills; works well in a small team.
• Familiarity with Best Practice or willingness to train in program.
• Experience with Medicare billing and data collection.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Current Working with Vulnerable Persons card, police check and C class driver''s license, or willingness to obtain.
