Job summary

Nerang Doctors, part of BFT Medical Centres on the Gold Coast, is seeking a VR GP to join from opening day. The clinic offers bulk billing for all Medicare card holders and a generous 72% of billings with a guaranteed income to start.

You will work with on-site reception, a nurse and a practice manager, with flexible full-time or part-time sessions and the opportunity to develop special interests across skin cancer, occupational health, ADHD, mental health or telehealth.

Qualifications

• FRACGP or equivalent with current AHPRA registration.
• Bulk-billing family practice model experience preferred.
• Willing to settle long-term and contribute to building a new clinic.

GP wanted for Nerang Doctors, opening soon

Nerang Doctors is a new bulk billing general practice on the Gold Coast, and we are looking for a VR GP to join us from opening day.

We are a small, family owned group of clinics. Our sister practice, Southport Metro Medical Centre, has been running seven days a week at Australia Fair with a stable team of GPs, nurses and allied health. Nerang is the next step, and we want the right doctor in the room from the start.

What we are offering

72% of billings, paid weekly, with a full breakdown so you can see exactly what you earned and how it was worked out.

A guaranteed minimum income while you build your books, so you are not carrying the risk of a brand new clinic on your own.

A bulk billing model for all Medicare card holders, which means full appointment books from day one in a suburb that needs more GPs.

Existing relationships with pre-employment medical and occupational health providers. This work is already flowing through the group, so there is privately billed employer work available alongside your Medicare consults from the start.

Full support staff from the moment the doors open. Reception, a registered nurse, and a practice manager who is on site and easy to reach. Recalls, care plan admin and billing follow up are handled for you.

Best Practice, HotDoc, Primary Sense, and a treatment room set up for procedures, immunisations, pre-employment medicals and chronic disease management with nursing support.

Clinical autonomy. You decide how you practise and how long you spend with your patients.

Flexible sessions. Full time or part time, and we can shape days and hours around your life.

Room to grow. As part of BFT Medical Centres you have a network of GPs and allied health across Southport and Nerang, with the option to develop special interests in areas like skin cancer, occupational health, ADHD, mental health or telehealth if that is where you want to go.
