Job Description

A modern, well-established medical centre in Cranbourne West, Victoria, is seeking a vocationally registered (VR) General Practitioner to join its busy, doctor-led practice. Operating under a bulk-billing model, this clinic prioritizes comprehensive, patient-centered care alongside highly sustainable workloads. The facility boasts a collaborative, low-ego team culture where absolute clinical autonomy is respected.

The incoming practitioner will benefit from a robust on-site multidisciplinary network, which includes existing general practitioners, a dentist, seven-day pathology, and access to specialists in cardiology, pediatrics, and gastroenterology. The practice is fully equipped with modern consulting rooms, state-of-the-art systems like Best Practice software, Tyro EFTPOS, and HICAPS, as well as ample on-site parking.

To minimize non-clinical administrative burdens, comprehensive support is provided by a dedicated team of nurses, administrative staff, allied health professionals, and an experienced practice manager. This includes robust assistance with Chronic Disease Management (CDM), allowing the incoming doctor to focus entirely on high-quality care. For those looking to expand their professional scope, the clinic offers diverse opportunities to pursue special interests, engage in continuing professional development (CPD), and take on supervisor roles within the practice.

Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, this position offers flexible consulting hours with full-time, part-time, or contractor arrangements available across weekdays, after-hours, and weekends. Located in a thriving, accessible community (classified as an MMM-1 location), the role delivers excellent lifestyle benefits alongside strong financial rewards. The successful candidate will step into a highly lucrative environment with an established patient base, supported by an initial guaranteed rate of $220 per hour for the first three months, or 70% of billings (whichever is greater).
