Job summary

ForHealth Group in ACT is seeking a General Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary medical centres. You will provide comprehensive medical care, conduct consultations for a range of conditions, and collaborate with nurses, specialists and allied health to ensure continuity of care.

We support flexible hours, no exclusivity, admin assistance, and access to CPD through the ForHealth Institute. Centres include Belconnen – Ginninderra Medical & Dental Centre, Phillip – Phillip Medical & Dental

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited Medical School.
• Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Current CPR certificate.
• Willingness to participate in continuing professional development activities.
• Clinical competency in primary health care for children and adults.
• Assessed and approved previous experience in general practice medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, continuing medical care for individuals, families and communities by working as a General Practitioner.
• Conduct consultations to follow up on simple and complex health conditions.
• Provide a range of health services including prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.
• Consult with other health professionals (i.e. nurses, other specialists and allied health).
• Provide ongoing education, participate in health promotion, conduct research, assist in training of colleagues and other health professionals.

• Clinical competency in all aspects of primary health care involving children and adults.
• Assessed and approved previous experience in general practice medicine
