Job summary

Yerrabi Yurwang Child & Family Aboriginal Corporation seeks a General Practitioner with Vocational Registration (FRACGP) to lead culturally appropriate primary health care in our Canberra region clinic. The GP VR will deliver patient-centred care, coordinate services, and work with a network of allied health professionals to improve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health outcomes.

Qualifications

• FRACGP registration with Medical Board of Australia or working towards Vocational Registration.
• Current medical indemnity insurance.
• Strong understanding of Aboriginal health issues and culture.
• Experience with Medicare billing and data collection.
• Proven ability to coordinate and deliver GP clinical services.
• Strong organizational skills and teamwork.
• Familiarity with Best Practice or willingness to learn.
• Good verbal and written communication; ability to network professionally.
• Current Working with Vulnerable Persons card and police check or willingness to obtain.
