Job summary

NSW Health at Royal North Shore Hospital, St Leonards, is seeking a Social Worker Level 3 to support the voluntary assisted dying service, coordinating care across community, private and NSLHD facilities. This permanent part-time role includes flexible hours and a focus on person-centred care.

The position is based at Royal North Shore Hospital, St Leonards but is responsible for coordinating care across community, private and NSLHD facilities.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

• Provide information that supports your qualifications to apply for this position: Bachelor or post graduate degree in Social Work and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) with a minimum experience at Level 2.
• Describe your experience in supporting patients and families at end of life with complex social needs.
• This role involves sensitive conversations and differing perspectives. Describe how you would effectively communicate, negotiate and navigate these situations.
