NSW Health's Gundagai Multipurpose Service invites a Visiting Medical Officer to provide contemporary General Practice services in a rural setting. The GP-VMO will deliver admissions, outpatient and on-call coverage, with a focus on safe, evidence-based patient care and education across disciplines.
The role requires AHPRA-registrable primary medical degree, RACGP/ACRRM/RACP fellowship or equivalent, and at least three years post-graduate experience in emergency medicine or rural medicine.

The Gundagai Multipurpose Service provides a 24-hour accident and emergency and has hospital care beds and residential aged care beds.
Gundagai is in one of the most picturesque areas of the Riverina, located on the Murrumbidgee River. With a population of just under 2,000, Gundagai is an iconic Australian country town and boasts a fun selection of sporting pursuits including bowls, golf, cycling, swimming, kayaking and canoeing. There are also a range of cultural experiences including regular markets, galleries and emporiums.
The GP VMO will provide contemporary comprehensive and professional specialist services in General Practice that are safe, effective, evidence based and patient centered.
