Job summary

Obsidian is seeking a part-time Visual Designer to craft prompt-based questions that train AI. You’ll leverage your strong visual design background (graphic/UI) to ensure prompts and responses mirror real-world design processes across websites and apps. A portfolio demonstrating high-quality visuals is essential.

Role is 10–20 hours per week with potential to grow to 40; start date is early to mid-August. Expect an AI interview and portfolio review as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Have over 1+ years of experience in graphic or UI design.
• Have a bachelor’s degree in design or a related field.
• Are currently based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK or Australia.
• Have a strong background in creating high-quality visual designs (websites/apps, brand/marketing assets) with unique aesthetics.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have strong attention to details
• Exposure working with LLMs and GenAI prompting.
